Dicks Sporting goods corporate social responsibility
1. Donate 2 million dollars to any community effected by a hurricane, money go towards schools, leagues and teams effected by the hurricane.
2. Pledged to donate 500 thousand dollars for 5 years to all little league and softball organizations. Money is to improve faculty improvements, uniforms and equipment to local little league programs in need.
3. Dicks sporting good received the ESPN corporate community impact award. This award resembles a corporation that uses the power of sports to help advance a social issue, cause or community organization. Dicks's was honored for their longstanding commitment to sprouts and actions in helping to save youth sports.
Dick's has a CSR score of 40 which is in the middle of the scores which is average. They do a lot for the community but are not very economically responsible.
